Throughout the Seminar, Judge Chettle provides detailed advice of what traits he and the other members of the Victorian County Court Bench find to be disruptive and frustrating during a trial. His Honour outlines some of the ‘fatal slips’ barristers make, records of interview, processes to follow under the Crimes Act 1958 and a common critical error made by Barristers which has revealed itself to the Victorian County Court Bench.
